My name is Jason, I am the Physical Education teacher in the International High School Department at the Nanjing Foreign Language School Fangshan Campus. I am originally from Surrey, England that is situated between two iconic British locations of  London and Windsor. I am a father to two adorable boys and a husband to my beautiful wife Nikita who I married back in 2019.

I graduated with a BSc in Sports & Exercise Sciences back in 2017 all the while teaching and coaching in local schools in my community. My degree has allowed me to work with a wide range of students and athletes, right from introduction to sports to elite competitors in the UK. My passion for teaching stems from the desire to help others develop and share my knowledge with the youth of not just England but the world. This mentality hasn’t changed in the 10 plus years I have been teaching in England. More recently I have been teaching in a Primary School near to me as a year 3 teacher covering lessons on English, Maths, Science as well as continuing to teach Physical Education.

My background has been sports based as I have been part of the same football team for over twenty-five years playing and also coaching students from four to eighteen. However, my other passions in life are travel and cinema with having the opportunity to visit such places as Australia, southeast Asia and Japan. Now I get to travel through China and see all the many wonders it has to offer. As mentioned, one of my other passions is cinema, especially Asian cinema, which one of my previous jobs was in a cinema as a supervisor which I enjoyed discussing my love for all different types of movies.

I hope to make a positive impact on the students learning as they develop in to young adults and progress on to their further studies and beyond. 

我叫Jason，是南京外國語學(xué)校方山分校國際高中部的體育教師。我出生于英國東南部的薩里郡，這里位于倫敦和溫莎之間。2019年我和美麗的妻子Nikita結(jié)婚，目前我已經(jīng)是兩個孩子的父親了。

2017年，我大學(xué)畢業(yè)，獲得了體育與運(yùn)動科學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。之后，我便在社區(qū)的一所學(xué)校擔(dān)任教師和教練。因工作之便，我得以接觸到各類學(xué)生、運(yùn)動員，他們中有的是運(yùn)動新手，有的則是馳騁于體育競技場上的佼佼者。對于教育事業(yè)，我飽含熱情，期望與英國乃至全世界的年輕人分享我的知識、經(jīng)驗(yàn)，幫助他們獲得成長和進(jìn)步。在英國執(zhí)教的十多年里，我的這一教育理念從未動搖過。我的上一份工作是在家鄉(xiāng)的一所小學(xué)擔(dān)任三年級學(xué)生的教師，教授英語、數(shù)學(xué)、科學(xué)以及體育。

我最擅長的領(lǐng)域是體育，已經(jīng)為同一支足球隊(duì)效力了二十五年之久。在球隊(duì)里，我主要負(fù)責(zé)教四歲到十八歲的孩子踢足球。除了體育，生活中的我還熱愛旅游和觀影。一有機(jī)會我就會去澳大利亞、東南亞各國和日本等地旅行。如今，我來到了中國工作，又可以踏上游歷中國的旅程了，我非常期待能探尋這里的壯麗景致。我的另一愛好是觀影，尤其青睞亞洲的電影。我之前的其中一份工作便是在電影院擔(dān)任主管，那時我可以和很多人分享自己對各類影片的熱愛和見解。

我希望自己能成為一位給學(xué)生帶來積極影響的老師，希望在他們成長的過程中以及今后的深造學(xué)習(xí)中我都能給他們帶來力量。
