為全面提高教師的專業(yè)素養(yǎng)，增強(qiáng)教師課堂教學(xué)的能力，提供教師間相互學(xué)習(xí)、交流的平臺，11月6日，南京外國語學(xué)校方山分校英語教研組開展了豐富多彩的教研活動。朱善萍校長、教學(xué)管理中心負(fù)責(zé)高中英語教學(xué)的孔小囡副主任和負(fù)責(zé)初中英語教學(xué)的魯?shù)じ敝魅螀⒓恿吮敬位顒印?/font>

On November 6th , the NFLSFC English Department held a professional development workshop for middle and high school teachers. The workshop helped to boost teachers’ professional skills, give them useful tools to develop their teaching practice and create a platform for teachers to learn and communicate with each other. Principal Zhu Shanping, Kong Xiaonan, the deputy director of Teaching Management Center and leader of senior high English department, and Lu Dan, the deputy director of Teaching Management Center and leader of junior high English department attended the event.

本次教研活動在七年級和高一年級新教師的自我介紹中拉開帷幕，伴隨著一場有趣的分組小游戲，此次教研活動的氛圍達(dá)到了高潮，老師們在互相合作中增進(jìn)了彼此之間的了解。

The event began with the new teachers from Grade 7 and Grade 10 giving a self-introduction. The teachers then took part in a fun and energetic team-building game, which helped everyone to get to know each other better.

隨后，徐聰、汪力、王玥老師分別上臺，與大家分享了她們?nèi)⒓犹K州外國語學(xué)校教研活動的學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗、有效的課堂教學(xué)活動和點子，讓現(xiàn)場的老師們收獲滿滿。

Later, teachers Xu Cong, Wang Li and Wang Yue each took to the stage to speak about what they had learned from attending a professional development event held at Suzhou Foreign Language School (SFLS). Each of the teachers shared effective teaching techniques and classroom activities, which proved very useful for all teachers in attendance.

Mr. William, Ms. Yang, Ms. Yin, and Ms. Lu then shared some teaching “life hacks” and useful resources with the other teachers. This helped teachers to learn from each other and share ideas to aid their professional development.

最后，各年級備課組長集思廣益，對各年級英語學(xué)科活動的方式和具體執(zhí)行方法進(jìn)行了討論。

To conclude the workshop, the heads of the lesson planning groups for each grade got together to brainstorm ideas about how to best implement teaching strategies and classroom activities for each level.

此次教研活動創(chuàng)新了互動交流、課堂展示、教學(xué)分享等形式，增進(jìn)了我校英語教師之間彼此的了解，互享教學(xué)資源和教學(xué)理念，有效促進(jìn)了青年教師的成長，讓教師們在以后的工作中取得更好的教學(xué)效果。

The professional development workshop helped establish links between teachers that will allow them to cooperate and communicate with each other more, show their classroom work and share ideas about teaching. We hope that the teachers who participated in the event will be able to work together in the future to continue their professional development, improving their effectiveness as educators.
